بعد نجاح أهالي الزبداني في ريف دمشق والجنود المنشقين في
المنطقة من ردع الفرقة الرابعة بدأت قوّات الأسد بالتحضير لشن هجمة جديدة
على المدينة، حيث تمّ حشدً عناصر لحزب الله يقدر عددهم بأكثر من 250 عنصرفي
بلدة يحفوفا اللبنانية المقابلة لبلدة سرغايا السورية، وتبعد يحفوفا أقل
من خمسة كيلومترات من الزبداني. ويعلق النظام أهمية كبرى على استعادة
الزبداني ومناطقها لأنها تربط لبنان بسورية عبر طريق دمشق - بيروت وعبر
أبراج التوتر العالي من الكهرباء السورية التي تزود لبنان ومعظم طرقات
التهريب غير الشرعية للسلاح والبضائع والنفط والسلع بين البلدين
وبدأت قوّات الأسد حملة عسكرية على مدينة حماة، حيث قامت
باجتياح المدينة من أكثر من محور وقامت بمداهمة مناطق الحاضر والعلمين تحت
قصف وإطلاق نار كثيف. وانشق العديد من الجنود اشتبكوا مع قوات الأسد بعد
رفضهم لأوامر إطلاق الرصاص على أهالي حي باب القبلي، وأدّت هذه الاشتباكات
إلى قتل قائد حملة المداهمة العميد عادل مصطفى نائب رئيس فرع الأمن العسكري
بحماة ومرافقه الملازم أول جمعة خالد النمر وثمانية عناصر من الأمن
وقتلت قوّات الأمن ما لا يقل عن 24 شخصاً، سقط أغلبهم في
حماة -التي يتم اجتياحها- وفي جبل الزاوية -في إدلب- التي تمّ إرسال
تعزيزات عسكريّة إليها تضمّنت العديد من المدرّعات وميليشيّات من حزب الله
تمّ تمييزهم بسبب ربطة صفراء على أكتافهم وبدلاتهم السود. وفي كفرتخاريم،
عقدت قوّات الأسد هدنة مع أهالي المدينة فقامت على إثرها بارجاع التعزيزات
القادمة من أرمناز. وتمّ الاتّفاق بعد الضغط الكبير من وجهاء المدينة
وتهديدهم على إثر تخريب قوات الجيش للمحال التجارية والمنازل
وانفجرت سيارة مفخخة في حي الميدان في دمشق، في أثناء
تحضير أهالي المنطقة لمظاهرات الجمعة. وتعود ملكيّة السيّارة لأحد عناصر
الأمن وقد انفجرت لدى قيامه بفتح بابها مما أدى إلى بتر ساقيه

The Regime is preparing for a massive military operation in the Damascus
suburb of Zabadani after its residents, assisted by defected soldiers,
succeeded in pushing back the Fourth Regiment.
The Syrian Army commenced another military operation against the city of Hama, invading the city from more than an axis.
Security forces killed at least 24 today; most fell in Homs and Jabal
al-Zawiya in Idlib where the regime deployed many armoured units and
Hezbollah militiamen.

The regime is preparing for a massive military operation in the Damascus
suburb of Zabadani after its residents, assisted by defected soldiers,
succeeded in pushing back the Fourth Regiment. Over 250 Hezbollah
militiamen have gathered in the Lebanese town of Yahfufa, which is 5 kms
away from Zabadani, prepared to flank the ranks of the rebels. The area
of Zabadani is of utmost strategic importance to the regime as many
important lines run through it, such as the Damascus-Beirut highway,
Syrian electric towers connecting Lebanon with power, and the routes for
smugglers dealing with arms, oil, and general goods.
The Syrian Army launched another military operation targeting the city
of Hama. The city was invaded from more than an axis and sweeping
operations were conducted in the areas of Hader and Alamain. Many
soldiers defected and clashed with Assad loyalists after they were
ordered to open fire at the residents of Bab Qabli. The commander of the
operation, Deputy Military Intelligence Director, Adel Mustafa, was
killed along with his Deputy Jouma Khaled al-Nimr and eight other
security personnel.
Security forces killed at least 24 people today; most fell in Homs and
Jabal al-Zawiya in Idlib where the regime deployed many armoured units
and Hezbollah militiamen, who were recognized by their yellow shoulder
tags and black clothing. In Kafartakhrim, the Syrian Army recalled its
reinforcements that were scheduled to arrive from the town of Armanaz,
after residents threatened the Army Commander with arming the
demonstrations following the wrecking by Assad’s forces of dozens of
houses and commercial establishments.
An armed car exploded in the neighbourhood of Maidan downtown Damascus
today, while the residents were preparing banners for tomorrow’s massive
Friday demonstration. The car belongs to security personnel who lost
his legs after the car exploded upon his attempt to open its door.
